Step-by-step instructions for getting started

Online Installation (Recommended)

  1. Download the Software Manager using the download button above.
  2. Run 3WavesSoftwareManager.exe to launch the installer.
  3. Software Manager checks for the latest version online and shows available updates.
  4. Downloads and installs 3WAVES automatically with no manual file transfers needed.
Tip: All future updates will notify you through the 3WAVES program.

Offline / Ghost Installation

New Installation:

  1. Download the Software Manager and an Install Package from the Updates & Releases section.
  2. Transfer both files to your air-gapped system via USB drive or other secure method.
  3. Run the Software Manager and select "Install from local package".
  4. Browse to the Install Package and follow the prompts to install.

Updating an Existing Installation:

  1. Download an Update Package from the Updates & Releases section.
  2. Transfer the Update Package to your air-gapped system.
  3. Run the Software Manager (already installed) and select "Install from local package".
  4. Browse to the Update Package and follow the prompts to update.
Note: Ghost edition has no online connectivity whatsoever. It is designed for secure, air-gapped environments with strict network isolation requirements.

  2. Graphics: OpenGL 3.3 compatible GPU (for 3D visualization)
  3. Storage: 200 MB available space
Note: The .NET 8 runtime is bundled with the Software Manager—no separate installation required.
